This Thermal Spring is located in B1 at Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto in Japan. Being located in Kyoto, which has a deep history and culture in Japan, and being located in front of Nijo castle, which is valuable historical heritage that has looked at Japan's long history elevate the value even more. Utilizing the natural hot springs that spring up from this site and the design derived by scenic beauty of Kyoto also produce the luxury space in the basement floor.

The space defines the consumption process as a journey. The Glare not only provides goods but also conveys fashion information. Fashion shops carry the rich and diverse design inspiration behind the products. If we can add more activities to space, this will deepen the consumer experience and at the same time feel the value of fashion design. It is not just a retail store, but also has the functions of sales, education, and exhibition at the same time.

The use of light and space blend, the external transparent glass curtain wall structure, forming an outward display space, but also form a transparent sense, to introduce more light. The blend of all white tones and light forms a pure and beautiful space feeling. This is a jewelry retail space that is not located in a mall, but in a single building in a creative garden. The sales group also shifted from the previous natural stream of people to the target consumer group.

Continue readingBodu Resort project was transformed from the combination of three old buildings. The designers started from respecting the original design concept and allowed the building to hide into nature with an extended posture. In the selection of materials, they used local materials to show the local sense of the architectural space with national colors. The whole building space used teak wood and old elm wood as the main structure, as well as the brick and stone bamboo weaving mechanism commonly used in local villages, to echo the regional culture.
Continue readingThis is a sales center in a community in Yiwu, China. The biggest problem the project designer faced is that the interior space is relatively deep. Also, there is no large glass curtain wall on the exterior of the building, which blocks the natural light and leads to poor indoor lighting. The design strategy is to employ skylights and introduces natural light in through the fifth facade of the building, thereby solving the problem of insufficient lighting in the interior space.
