Bamboo Cubic is an exhibition hall constructed entirely from bamboo, showcasing the integration of production, life, and ecology. It offers immersive spaces wholly made of bamboo and features a unique cubic design. By combining multiple Cubic, it creates diverse spaces that provide a sense of depth and endless possibilities. The name Bamboo Cubic is inspired by the versatility of bamboo and the variability of cubic.
Continue readingThe project is divided into two, defining the social and private areas. The flooring is changed from marble to solid wood, implicitly defining the boundary between the living room and the dining room. The colors in the living room are gradually brightened, bringing the city views and bright sunlight into the interior, while the curved ceiling and indirect lighting strips form a smooth and soft atmosphere. The soft curves of the waves are shown on the curved line of the wall.

Continue readingThe daylight is a gift from nature. The first layer of filtering in the blinds. The light and shadows are divided into bundles, unveiling a neat prelude to the daily rhythm. The first chapter is filled with the fragrance and attitude of wood, breaking the concept of bundles while categorizing light and shadow. The ceiling grille is not defined by the standard horizontal and vertical but by the rhythmic and harmonious visualization of the intertwined forms. The reflective nature of the metal surface has a chiseled conflict.

From the carousel-shaped ceiling light to the city skyline-inspired wall panels and mirror surfaces creating captivating illusions, every detail adds to the atmosphere. It stands out by sticking to its theme throughout, creating a space that's both creative and practical for both parents and children.
Continue readingJanus is a whisky and cocktail bar with a social aspect. The client had two demands: one was that the audience should not interpret this place according to the literal meaning of Janus or their traditional concepts, and the other was that the audience should have more than two different spatial experiences in this place. These different spatial experiences combine as an integral whole rather than as independent ones. According to the project, the first floor is the supporting space and the second floor is the main venue.
