Continue readingThe Strata Springscape beauty salon is surrounded by a world of strata and springs. The entire space is embedded with elements inspired by strata, soil, springs, and water streams. Fragments of strata and spring motifs can be seen dancing on the ceiling next to floating fountain-like mirrors. The walls are finished with blue gradations that resemble water streams reflected in a fountain, and with a texture evocative of stone gravel in a geological formation. This creates an environment full of diverse rhythms of shadows and reflections, thereby magnifying the joy of those who pass through it.
Continue readingImagine drinking to your heart’s content in a secluded tree cave in a forest. A newly-opened local bar restaurant in Linkou, Bar Mori features a Japanese style with forest motifs. Its low-profile, sleek environment makes for a chic yet serene hangout space with a café feel. Walking through a garden with lush vegetation and opening a glass door, you enter a transition hallway for a switch of setting, emerging from the hustle and bustle on the other side to a natural sphere of tranquility and elegance.
Continue readingThe original dome in the space is embellished with transparent linear tassels. The rounded shape mirrors the art installation at the entrance below, which is a highlight. In between the mezzanine levels, the design team skillfully laid out the grayscale tones to show the vivid contrast of visual changes in light and shadow. In the meantime, the mirrors light up the modern style, with the marble and curved shapes creating a streamlined imagery. Both businesspeople and tourists can enjoy the well-planned and perfect function in this place.
Continue readingThe design team presents the project with a fusion of classical European elements of columns and a modern, streamlined technological sense. The interplay of color and material leads to a new look of classical elements in the large mansion. Moreover, the design team took reduction as the core to transform the current discussion of the project into a concise and contemporary vision. For example, the grayscale natural mineral coating reduces color saturation, while the delicate carving of curved surfaces brings a different sense of extension to each turn.
Continue readingAn extraordinary space to enjoy French cuisine. The theme is another dimension. The ceiling and walls are seamlessly connected by seven large purple peels. The boldly patterned natural marble seating counter is preceded by a symbolically shaped open counter where diners can enjoy watching the chefs prepare their dishes in front of them. The walls on either side of the counter are decorated with illuminated moss artwork, which matches the purple space perfectly. There are only 10 seats. It is a perfect situation to enjoy the cuisine.
