Da Ya Li

Da Ya Li is the interior design of a roast duck restaurant in Chengdu, China. The central feature is a red tree house made of rattan. About 50,000 rattan pieces were polished and spray painted in a workshop, then fixed one by one onto a shaped base. The woven pattern rises from the staircase entrance and extends to the seating areas. Red recalls Chinese royal architecture and the peppery taste of Sichuan cuisine. Smoky black antique brick walls and floor tiles balance the warm red. A metal grille divides the space for commercial needs.

Newme

Newme is a medical beauty hospital located in the core of Chengdu Financial City, China. The interior covers about 6500 square metres over four floors, including clinics, operating rooms, patient rooms and offices. Arched forms are used throughout the space to guide the interior rhythm. The arches also wrap the diagonal steel beams of the original building. Terrazzo and glass fibre reinforced gypsum are the main materials, prefabricated in a factory and installed on site. The neutral palette is intended to suit both women and men.

We Wedding Ring Art Center

We Wedding Ring is a jewelry retail space set in a single building within a creative garden rather than in a shopping mall. The interior covers 300 square meters and is finished in white tones. A transparent glass curtain wall opens the store outward and brings in more natural light. Curved structures divide the front and rear areas, while arched openings create contrasts of light and shadow. Shaped arches on the ceiling simulate skylights. A suspended balloon sculpture near the entrance invites visitors to interact with the space.

Cifi Yst Cyf

Cifi Yst Cyf is a sales center that later serves as a kindergarten, covering 1200 square meters. The design uses log color as the main tone, with cabin-like cubes that connect and interlace. Green color blocks and windows of different sizes create a changing rhythm and reduce the fear of large empty spaces. Low saturated forest colors, white play stairs and geometric shapes of animals and plants are combined. Materials include terrazzo, wood grain sound absorbing panels, fabric soft covering and PVC flooring. Safety guides every detail of the interior.

Thermal Spring

Thermal Spring is a hot spring bathing facility on the first basement level of a hotel in Kyoto, Japan. The interior covers 469 square meters, including the entrance and the corridor, and uses natural hot water that rises from the site. The design is inspired by the geology of Kyoto, by the spiritual traditions of the city and by the memory of the land. Garden stones found on the site were reshaped and reused for stone sculpture and flooring. A clay wall in deep indigo recalls the local dyeing culture, while a granite wall with a natural surface suggests underground water veins.

Beauty of Life Academy of China Resource

Beauty of Life Academy of China Resource is a sales office located in Shunyi, China. The interior covers 502 square meters and follows the theme of the unbounded. Streamlined curves guide visitors from the lobby through an art gallery, a central exhibition area, a light and shadow gallery and a waterside VIP room. The curves soften the borders between rooms and merge architecture, landscape and interior space. Materials include golden mocha stone, GRG glass fiber board, woodwork, textured paint and stainless steel. The project was completed in August 2019.
