Xiu Shan Reception Center

With “Living in the Park” as a design concept, the design team has integrated a natural elements into the design to create an easy and open reception center without losing its sense of formality. The lightweight metal roof and straight metal bracket give a clear outline of the space, and since the facade is facing the North, it opens an opportunity to have a great glass visual effect. With a variety of greening methods, from the outside to the inside, the park, outdoor landscaping, indoor vertical gardening, breaking the traditional concept of enclosed serious reception center.

The design abandons the traditional closed office format, and throws away the old fashioned layout and decorations. Defined by simplicity and technology, it goes without losing comfort and warmth. The designer creates a brand new design concept based on the characteristics of the city of Shenzhen, as well as the firm’s localization in Shenzhen.

Love Story of City

Home is not only a carrier of life, also a core to initiate a chain reaction of city and people, such that a city has different scenes. The combination focusing on the outdoor and surrounding environments functionally converts the discrete outdoor spaces into an exquisite area for activities, while figuratively resuming the indoor space and amplifying the visual delicacy and copiousness as well. The just right decorations using the electric windows and the stylish window frames concurrently improve the air circulation in the building, save the energy of air conditioning.

Moritomi

The relocation of Moritomi, a restaurant offering Japanese cuisine, next to the world heritage Himeji Castle explores the relationships between materiality, shape and traditional architectonics interpretation. The new space tries to reproduce the castle stone fortifications pattern in various materials including rough and polished stones, black oxide coated steel, and tatami mats. A floor made in small resin coated gravels represents the castle moat. Two colors, white and black, flows like water from outside, and crossing the wooden lattice decorated entrance door, to the reception hall.

Moving from the old office representing decades of hard work to the current office which is healthy, bright, greenery, and efficient. Both the indoor space full of humanity charms and the out space decorated with greenery landscapes show the care for nature. The natural elements regularly applied in the office design remind everyone in the office that people should have symbiotic and sustainable relationship with nature.

Tong Yueli

The fairytale elements add bright colors to daily life, enrich people’s experience and enable people to enjoy every happy moment. Designed and decorated in a fairytale perspective, the sales center provides interesting experience for both children and adults. Painting skills are employed to tell stories, describe images and create different space experiences. In this imaginative and artistic space, geometric elements are changed and combined to interpret the pleasure and happiness inside people.
