This project is located in the core business district of Zhongyuan, Zhengzhou. Within a radius of 3 kilometers, it serves a population of 1.7 million people. The main focus is on family-oriented consumers of all ages, aiming to integrate fashion into the lifestyle of families and provide a warm and comfortable shopping center.
Continue readingEcru comes from the French word Ecru, describing the color of unbleached linen. Ecru Restaurant in Taipei's East District aims to offer a relaxed dining experience. The design uses a corridor at the entrance to shift from city hustle to tranquility, leading to an open area with a central open kitchen. This setup integrates cooking into the dining experience, engaging diners with sounds and aromas.
Continue readingThe essence of Yueji Diffuse Space is to design a tranquil and pure, but exceedingly warm and real space. including spiritual rehab, tea ceremony and yoga. At the top of the room，a courtyard serves as the centre of motion lines and penetrates the entire space. It flows the air of the building, creates a thorough field of view and brings inside the outdoor sunshine. Sunlight will pass through the courtyard into the room, and as time goes, its light and dark system changes.

The courtyard is placed at the rear, away from the parking area, while a deep balcony connects the cozy spaces to the main building. The villa's form utilizes broken and lozenge-shaped lines to create visual appeal and shadow play. Construction materials are prominently and exposedly used to design without the need for meticulous finishing.

It is not just a redefinition of commercial space, it is a symbol of the city's cultural pride and a window for Tianjin to showcase its history, culture and innovative vitality to the world. The design leads people to recall the sense of achievement and excitement at the birth of modern commerce in Tianjin, making it once again a desirable city parlor. From the moment it opens to the public, the century old building will be reinvigorated.
